I have owned the car since January 2017. I am selling as I have upgraded to a newer model. It has done low mileage over the last 3 years. I have added extras onto the car such as; sliver with black checkered plates (as per the photo). Black roof and black tinted rear windows. Bulk head removed to allow the seats to go back and recline to suit a larger driver. Rear load bay has had plywood fitted. Tyres are 265/75r16 on black saw tooth alloy wheels. This super Land Rover Defender 90 TDI300 is very reluctantly being sold as we have moved to France. Its had a complete professional re-spray with new canvas hood and nice chunky hood sticks, a new spare wheel holder and all new doors and seals. The interior has also been completely refurbished with new carpet and front and rear seats plus a new stereo.
New suspension, shocks and springs and new chunky tyres complete the look.
We’ve paid real attention to detail when refurbishing this defender including replacing the rear exhaust, fuel filler neck, new seatbelt clips and windscreen rubber. No advisories on its last MOT.
This 90 is so much fun and comfortable to drive and with the 300TDI engine handles really well. A real head turner on the road.

“Great condition - but to be described as an on-going restoration. Has 3 seats in the front - 2 x 3 point belts and one lap belt in middle seat + 4 fold down/up rear seats. All in quite good condition. Panels in good condition - has had some welding in footwells. All doors are good, as are the windows. Tyres are 5 x Kumho all in good condition. Has had chassis replaced with a galvanised. Had the petrol 2.25 engine rebuilt 9000 miles ago by Strathearn Engineering up in Perthshire from where the Landie came from: www.strathearnengineering.com - no paper work though. New fuel tank just fitted and a years MOT - so due May 2021 - Much work done.”

Changed the rear end and along with various bits and pieces - have invoices to backup along with all MOT's from the past 5 years. All on line of course - just been MOT'd for another year with no expense spared.
Only advisory was Nearside Front Wheel bearing slightly noisy. a member on the Series 2 Club. answer them,

Values differ so much with these vehicles so I've put it up with what I think is a reasonable price. With a replaced galvanised chassis, a rebuilt engine, all that hard work is done. As we know, these are like Meccano kits - all panels come off and can be replaced.
So an on-going restoration or enjoy as is.

My P38a is now up for sale, I bought it 2 yrs ago and due to moving to a new area and a change in circumstances it is not being used.

It is in very good condition for its age (20yr) but does have a few age related scratches on the bonnet, the rest of the bodywork in not bad at all & the headlining has been replaced as it was sagging badly and looked un sightly.
It was recently clay barred to bring up the shine in the paintwork It has a full dealer service history including the original supplier stamps.
I have HPI the car and apart from a plate change it comes up clear including the 46500mls which is also backed up with mots.
Recently it has had a engine service plugs and oil/filter and is running like it was new.
Test runs out in June but I will put a new one on for the buyer.
I will consider a p/ex with cash either way for something interesting I would prefer a motorcycle. WHY
